For a practicing physician updation of knowledge is a vital component as he/she deal with life. Doctors in private practice or service have very little opportunities for updation of their knowledge through organized C.M.E.programmes by Govt. or other agencies.
The problem is much more for those who reside in remote towns and villages. Distance learning courses have specially been designed forthose who till now did not have any access to their updation.
Postal Mode (Correspondence) :
All the courses being conducted by the institute are through distance learning. The system is learner oriented and the student is an active participant in the teaching and learning process.
Medium of course is English only.
The Post Graduate Certificate are meant for Registered Medical Practitioners in Allopathy, Ayurved, Unani & Homoepathy possessing degree/diploma through a recognized University/Board. The purposes of the courses is to make the participant well equipped with the subject considering the modern day advances and enhancement of his/her skills so that he/she can do better in his/her practice. The main aim of the course is to help the participant in better health care delivery for his/her patients.
The idea of institute is not to perform the role of medical colleges or to compete with them. In fact taking into consideration the growing needs of the practicing physicians, the courses will definitely be of help in better deliver of health care to the patients.
On receipt of application form along with requisite fee & educational documents,the participant (student) is enrolled.Areceipt is issued and mailed to the participant usually within 7 days of receiving the complete form with requisite fee.
The course material is sent to the student in one despatch consisting of total modules/chapters of the course, Despatch of material usually takes 7 days from enrolment of student (Participant).
The participants after receiving the despatch are required to study the material and send the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) duly completed to the institute.
Multiple Choice Question (MCQs) is sent to the students along with the receipt of the course.
Students have to send these MCQs duly answered back to the institute in a stamped envelope.
When all the duly answered MCQS are received by the institute, and the institute is satisfied with the performance of the participant, the participant is declared to have successfully completed the course and a Certificate is awarded from the Institute.
Every doctor who successfully completes the course is awarded a certificate certifying successful completion of the course.
